::playing my “Shiloh”, a Lyon and Healy 85 Grand Petite pedal harp, that the Lord gave to me::

Hello there! I’m Bryant, the author of this online journal.  On this page, you can read a bit more about me.

This spring, I completed my high school requirements for our home-school.  I was home-schooled all through school, and also attended various classes at a college preparatory home-school cooperative, Logos Christian Academy.
I take piano and harp lessons at a Conservatory an hour away from where we live. I am also a music teacher, with a small band of students that I love dearly!

Left to myself, I do not tend to be very outgoing, but I am still very much a people-person. The Lord has been giving me so many opportunities to work on being outgoing, and I have gotten more confident in public speaking and meeting people, and it doesn’t bother me as much anymore. I treasure my time alone with Him, reading His Word and deepening my relationship with Him.  I also enjoy writing in my journal –  things the Lord is teaching me and ways that I see Him working.

I love to spend time thinking and praying outdoors, and one of my favorite spots to think and pray is on a haybale in the middle of one of the soybean fields near our home. If you’ve never tried it sitting on a haybale in the middle of a soybean field before, you really ought t try it sometime! It’s quite exhilarating! :)

Sewing, cooking, teaching, journaling, shopping at thrift stores, music, reading, blogging, singing with my sister, being outdoors, taking long walks and jogs, and talking with friends, and (of course) sitting on haybales in the middle of soybean fields are a few of the things that I enjoy most.  Oh — and I love Dove chocolates (the ones with the messages on the wrappers!)! [grin]

Although I do enjoy these activites, my greatest desire is that the Lord would continue to teach me to follow Him — joyfully, expectantly, hopefully, and faithfully — wherever He leads.

  .::{Jesus, You be lifted high in my life,
And I fall to my knees,
So it’s You that they see,

Not I.

Jesus, You be lifted high!}::.

I hope you enjoy browsing my blog, and please feel free to drop me a note. Blessings to you in His Name!

    Jesus, You be lifted high in my life, And I fall to my knees, So it's You that they see,

  • :: A quote ::

    "You were made to feast on Christ. To be satisfied with Him. To treasure His infinite value. To enjoy making much of Him all your days. Here is your fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore. Not in being made much of, but in making much of Him."

    You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence there is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

    -Psalm 16:11 ESV
