The way of the manger led to the Cross. Christ knew this before He came as a baby, and yet He came anyway.
But, the way of the manger also leads to the Tomb!
LIFE – he was born,
DEATH — on the cross, and
LIFE ANEW – resurrection!
This can be the same for each of us if we choose to submit to this baby as our personal Lord, Savior, and Master.
Death was not the end for Him,
and neither does it have to be for any of us!
This is the true meaning, the true purpose of Christmas:
a Cross, and a Tomb.
A way out of eternal bondage and death, and an opportunity to be led through life and the everlasting, step by step, hand in hand, by Another.
Glory to God in the highest!
