During the week of July 7-12, there were two girls conferences at our church. The conference topics were focused on training young ladies to be bright lights for the Lord in a very dark generation. My sister and I were team leaders for both conferences. We had so much fun and saw the Lord at work in many incredible ways! Here is a collage of photos from the week!

:: The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. ::

Sinner. Saved by grace.
Jesus, You be lifted high in my life,
And I fall to my knees,
So it's You that they see,
Not I.
Jesus, You be lifted high!

"You were made to feast on Christ. To be satisfied with Him. To treasure His infinite value. To enjoy making much of Him all your days. Here is your fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore. Not in being made much of, but in making much of Him."
You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence there is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Bright Lights is a good conference! It’s great that you could be part of that! The pictures are sweet. :) I was an assistant leader for one a few years ago, but my experience wasn’t quite so great. (I had no idea what I was doing and was stressed out! )
Great pictures!!! I’m sure you had a wonderful time, and it looks like you were certainly a blessing to the other girls there!!
I’m looking forward to seeing picture from your MN trip…..and I absolutely can not wait until Thursday!! Yeah!!!
Hopefully we’ll have a chance to talk bunches and get caught up–it’s been way too long!!
Love and Prayers,
~Elizabeth
Very nice pictures! :)
Is that Abby in the bottom picture?
I’m sorry I wasn’t able to come tonight, but my gums are killing me. :|
Thanks for leaving comments! That always makes my day. :)
Yes and no…we’re not like *good* friends or anything, but I know A&B through blogging/Rebelution stuff, so we have a friendship through that. They are really genuine guys and I appreciate ‘em like brothers. So there, you have an “inside” if you ever get the chance to meet them. LOL
How wonderful! I would’ve loved to have been there, however, it was my birthday and we had other plans. Please, post more soon!
Always in Christ,
Kourtney
Isaac, Abby’s in the 2nd and last picture and your mom and Hannah are in the 4th picture.
I hope your gums feel better soon. Abby told me your dad said you look like a chipmunk. :)
Tata!
Looks like fun! The bright lights conference sounds great – we did a mother/daughter study on Before You Meet Prince Charming a few years ago, and it was wonderful!
Oh, thank you!
I appreciate my dad’s description. :)
Thanks for your wishes. I hope they start feeling better soon also.
BTW, is that Lydia Becker in the 11th picture in the light blue shirt? She’s sitting in the center. I think it’s her, but am not sure.
Thanks,
Isaac :)
Bingo!
She’s in the 13th pic, too.
It looks like a lot of fun!
Thanks!
I was also a team leader this summer, in a VBS, and I agree it’s a wonderful experience! :D
I like the picture where there are three girls playing the huge harps… it’s amazing!
