I had to go on an extremely dangerous mission to capture this top secret picture. This top secret mission quick became not so top secret when the mommy (could have been daddy–I don’t really know) spotted me trying to do something to her/his precious babies-to-be. Just seconds after pressing the shutter button, and flutter of wings and a loud screeching sound suddenly approached very fast. I quickly vacated the scene.
I call this mission a “shoot and run.”

Very neat picture! I love looking at God’s amazing creation and it is so fun to capture it in a picture! Post again soon!

Do you know what kind of birds they are? Perhaps a sparrow?
It’s a larger bird, greyish with speckles, and a long, thin tail. My dad thinks it may be a kind of thrush.
That’s a very neat picture! Make sure to post pictures of the “babies!” :)
Yes! I’m very curious to see what the babies look like. :)
OH- great shot Bryant!! You did a great job capturing the next and framing the picture!! :)
Love You!

Elizabeth-
When I was taking it, the nest was high above my head, and so I just held the camera up and took a bunch before being chased away (by the bird)! It was really amazing that I got them in the picture. :)
Thanks!
I don’t know that I’ve seen many, if any thrushes. At least, they haven’t been pointed out to me as them. I wish I knew more about birds. My grandma has many birdfeeders and houses in her backyard.
She even has a BB gun to shoot the squirrels with!
Poor squirrels! Does she really shoot them?
Yes, but now they have pretty much learned not to try to eat the birdseed. :)
I love the purple dress that you have on.
Haha – score!
I just found your blog. :0)
Those are great pictures!
You’re so pretty. ;0)
