We say we are Christians, we proclaim it to the whole world, even under the hands of the executioner and in the midst of all the torments you inflict upon us to compel us to unsay it. Torn and mangled, and weltering in our blood, we cry out as loud as we are able to cry,“We are worshipers of God through Christ Jesus!”
TERTULLIAN
CHRISTIAN FATHER AND APOLOGIST
A.D. 150-229
I am so thankful we have these examples to follow — men and women who followed humbly in the perfect footsteps of our Lord Jesus. They followed Him in joyous times, and they followed Him to the cross.
Now we can tread in their footsteps, and find, as they did, that
although the journey is hard –
the way is rough –
the path is painful –
the struggle is always worth the result.
For after this struggle, our Lord will transform our weak, wounded, maimed bodies into new, glorious, beautiful bodies!
“The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.”
1 Corinthians 15:42-44

What a beautiful meditation!
[...]the struggle is always worth the result[...] How true that is! I believe I read somewere that in order to experiance true happiness, we must alos feel sorrow, dissapointment, and be faced with trials.
Thanks so much for the encouragement. it means a lot when you know others are struggling with the same things you do. sometimes it seems you are so alone in what you struggle with. But it does so much when a fellow sister in the Lord comes along and gives a helping hand or a word of encouragement. thanks again
Your Sister in the Lord,
