Our internet connection was a little more stable this afternoon, and I was able to write this post!
Enjoy!
I have never written a “Year Review” post before, but I thought it would be fun to compile some memories!
I also want to express my thankfulness to my Lord for how He has blessed me, exceedingly, abundantly, beyond anything I could ask or think.
::January::
It was a quiet, “wind-down” month after the whirlwind of activities around the holidays! I was able to play the harp for a church nearby, and that was a highlight!
I couldn’t think of anything except that my sister turned 17 this month. :)
Busy, busy this month was! We went to see a wonderful movie called The Ultimate Gift in theaters. We don’t go to movies very often, so this was a treat!
Four of our dear friends came to visit on St. Patrick’s Day weekend for my sister’s birthday, and we had so much fun!
Another big highlight was going to my first Gaither concert! I enjoyed this so much!
::April::
We spent ten glorious, sunny days in Florida! With the Lord’s provision, we were able to fly down relatively inexspensively, and it was a wonderful vacation!
::May::
This was a fun month! My sister and I participated in a 30 harp ensemble at the Conservatory where we take lessons. It was lovely! Praise God for music!
::June::
This was camp month for us! I started the leadership training program there that my sister graduated from this year. It was truly a fun, yet stretching, growing, time for me. I want to give glory to the Lord for helping me through these hard weeks.
My dear blog was also hacked twice during this month!
The first
The second
June was also the first month that we had one of our foster daughters here. Through His grace, we made it!
::July::
Through the Lord’s blessing and the kindness of my dear aunt and uncle, Micah Noel and I took a train trip to Seattle, WA to visit my other dear aunt and uncle! The scenery was breathtaking!
God is good!
::August::
Immediately after returning from Seattle, we again packed our bags and headed down to Bartlesville, OK to volunteer at Voice of The Martyrs. We have been wanting to do this for years, and we had a wonderful, wonderful time serving the persecuted church, and all the while staying in the US. :) Praise God!
::September::
Another “wind-down” month for us! After go, go, go all summer, I found myself taking a deep breath, enjoying being home (although I do enjoy traveling), and lugging out my school books yet again.
::October::
This was a quiet month, and I was able to complete a few “home projects.”
::November::
We three girls headed up to MN for Thanksgiving this year, while my father stayed here with my grandmother.
We also were able to go to Branson this month! This trip, short as it was, was a lovely highlight of the year! I enjoyed it so much!
::December::
Well, that brings us up to now!I am so grateful to the Lord for all His abundant blessings He has poured out on me this year!

Where was the picture taken? If it’s SDC, I can’t figure out where it’d be, as you don’t have your coat on! :)
It was actually taken at Shoji Tabuchi’s theater in Branson. We saw a show there on the first morning we arrived in Branson.
It’s been a wonderful year, full of wonderful memories and special blessings from the Lord!! I hope we can get together soon Bryant!!!
With Love,
~Elizabeth
I was close! :D
I’ve never seen him. Is his show good? :)
Happy New Year!
What a busy year!
I hope you have a happy ending of 2007 and have a great entry to 2008 with a lot of God’s blessings before you!
Happy new year!

Yes, it was pretty good.
On the down side, it was quite “showy,” and the ladies outfits were rather suggestive.
I can honestly say that I enjoyed Dicken’s more, but I can’t complain because my grandma paid for the show!
Yes, he plays the violin.
I don’t remember the Wilderness church. There was so much there, and we spent a lot of time at the shows or waiting in line for them, and we were there only two days. I wish we could have seen more, but maybe we can go back sometime.
My dad calls all-you-can-eat restaurant places like that “all-you-can-keep-down”! :)
That’s really neat, Bryant! Thanks for sharing. :)
Sheila
No kidding! That’s what they are basically! :)
The Wilderness Church is SDC’s church. People have weddings there sometimes. I’ve never seen one there, but I’d imagine they’re very expensive. They have church on Sundays there, I think.
Happy New Year!!
Happy New Year Bryant!:) Blessings!
Have a very Happy New Year!
