“For great is His love toward us…”
-Psalm 117:2
On the whole, God’s love for us is a much safer subject to think about than our love for Him. The great thing to remember is that, though our feelings come and go, His love for us does not.
It is not wearied by our sins,
or our indifference;
and therefore, it is quite relentless in its determination that we shall be cured of those sins,
at whatever the cost to us,
at whatever the cost to Him.

…1 Peter 4:19 “We love him, because he first loved us.” …because He FIRST loved us… What powerful words indeed.
The act of God loving us first cost our precious Lord Jesus His own life so we could LIVE!
Therefore our answer to that love should be as it reads in Galatians 2:20…
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
Thanks for that post! :-D
Take care,

Let me guess…SDC? :)
The barrel looks familiar. :D
You guessed it! [grin]
Cool! Do you remember where it was? :)
Sure do! It was right in that “circle” around the large Christmas tree, near a little shop with a guy in it making brooms!
That is awesome. Beautiful words to that song!
