Last week, I sewed another denim skirt, but this one is different….
I made it out of a pair of jeans! It turned out very nice, thankfully, because I wasn’t exactly sure how to do it.
It was very easy and fun!
Recently, I also purchased a new skirt pattern, as well as a blouse pattern. I have never made a blouse before, and can’t wait to tackle this new challenge! [grin]
Nice job! I can’t even imagine trying to do that. Of course, that’s because I’m a male…;)

Looks great! A friend made one and gave it to me, and although I don’t wear it all that often, it’s nice to have pockets! (the only other skirts I wear are home-made, and I haven’t attempted to make any with pockets yet!)
I’ll be anxious to see how your blouse turns out! I haven’t made one yet, but have a pattern I’m hoping to try out soon!

That denim skirt is very interesting. You are so creative! I don’t think I would think of doing that. But I do do some handiwork. A little crosstitching last winter, and when it gets cold I always do lots of crocheting, and this year I made a cloak – the one I am wearing in the picture.

I wish I could sew! I’ve recently been wearing longer skirts more often, and they aren’t always easy to find. :)
I love it! I have been wanting to try something like that because I can’t find any long denim skirts. My mom made me one that is using the waist of the jeans, and then gathered fabric for the bottom. It is cute too. But I like this a lot. Maybe sometime soon I’ll try one…=)
