This week-end, my mom, Micah Noel and I are going to Topeka to help with door-to-door and some phone campaigning for Jim Ryun. We will be leaving tomorrow night, and will probably be back on Sunday night. We’ll be staying in a hotel there with the other people who are helping with this team (most of them we know), so it will be fun! But the thing I am really, really, excited about is that we are most likely going to get to hear him speak….no, not Jim Ryun….President Bush!!! Anyone who knows me really well knows that I would really like to get to see him in person. When we toured the White House in Washington last year, I really hoped (yes, I know it was a very small chance!) to at least see him (he was there at the time we were), but…we saw his dog instead! :-) Anyway, I’m really excited about this opportunity (in case you can’t tell!)!!

Sinner. Saved by grace.
Jesus, You be lifted high in my life,
And I fall to my knees,
So it's You that they see,
Not I.

"You were made to feast on Christ. To be satisfied with Him. To treasure His infinite value. To enjoy making much of Him all your days. Here is your fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore. Not in being made much of, but in making much of Him."
You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence there is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

LOL, I had to giggle when you said you saw his dog instead. I’m sure it was fun, yet with a tad of disappointment. :)
Glad to hear you like campaigning. That’s fun, isn’t it?
